What A Historic Day

As we speak, the inauguration of our new President of the United States of America, Barack H. Obama is taking place. It's being broadcast everywhere. If you are one of the lucky ones that actually got a chance to be there in person, please let us know! We'd love to hear your comments on the event firsthand!

  1. It's so sad that the race of Barack Obama is the most important and impressive thing about him. Talk about "selling out" for equality. Notice that every news story refers to him as " the first black president of the united states." They never really put emphasis on anything about him as much as they do the color of his skin. Just saying...

  2. "Just saying" what??? That Obama is only in the white house because he's black? Because that's what it sounds like. A lot of people voted for him because of his charm, wit, intelligence, and qualifications. Sure, a few people probably voted for him based on his race, but remember...he had a landslide victory! I believe in change.

  3. I never said that "Baby". Relax. I was simply making an observation. People make it into a race thing, when it should have nothing to do with race at all. People's ignorant comments turn into issues that don't even exist. Oh, and "charm" shouldn't be something that you base your vote on. Just like race, or nationality shouldn't be either.
